The society in which we currently live produces materials in the form of both industrial and daily-waste (from rubbish to our organic waste) that is collected in dumps or thrown in the rivers or into the sea. This can pollute the streams, rivers and oceans.
Unfortunately the water around us often faces the risk pollution. This set of microscope slides shows a range of the possible inhabitants of polluted waters unsuitable for us to drink.
If you collect a drop of water from a fresh and clear brook and under the microscope you see something similar to what is included in these microscope slides, you should avoid drinking it.

This set of ten prepared slides (subjects are shown below) come in a wooden slide box with ten blank slides and cover slips.
